Hard Maple
Arguably
the most common flooring option after Red and White Oak, Maple
is the best choice if you are looking for a light, uniform
appearance. Super durable, it is considered one of the hardest
of all hardwoods. The Premium White Grade is strictly uniform
in color, so if you are looking for more "character"
consider alternative grades to achieve different degrees of
distinguishing traits. Maple is 12 percent harder than Red
Oak.

Edge Grain
This
grade of Hard Maple is almost white and nearly uniform in
color and grain. It is predominantly Sapwood with a few slight
color variations. The major aspect of this floor is that the
grain all runs tangent to the face of the flooring and runs
parallel with the length. This makes for a super stable floor.
It is a floor almost exclusively specified by architects and
super high-end designers looking for the ultimate contemporary
product.

a highly coveted dramatic look. This grade of maple has varying

colors to include distinct color variations, occasional sound
knots and dark streaks. If you are out to impress this is
