Hickory
has wild color variations. Almost "calico", the
color variations are similar to that of the character grades
of Maple. Hickory is a dense hardwood close in density to
Maple.

This
grade of Hickory contains some color variation, an occasional
"pin" knot and minimal dark streaks. This is an
exceptional floor.

Common
This
grade of Hickory contains wild color variations and dramatic
wood characteristics. The colors range from very dark to nearly
white; the grade includes discolored sapwood, heavy dramatic
streaks, sound knots, checks and splits. It is a classic rustic/cabin
grade of floor.
