Northern Wisconsin
Walnut
Usually
dark brown in color, although the sapwood may be nearly white
to tan, Walnut is an elegant wood whose richness is renowned.
To minimize the sapwood variations WD Flooring steams
its Walnut to create a more uniform and rich floor. Walnut
is 20 percent softer than Red Oak.

Select
and Better
Uniform
and consistent, dark and rich. We grade our select Walnut
to a higher standard than others in our industry. Still, you
will see occasional small knots and minimal sapwood. This
grade of Walnut is stunning and distinctive; combined with
the deep dark hue it makes for a magnificent, defining floor.
